About Us
Cobbinshaw Angling Association Ltd is a private angling association that started over 100 years ago, based at Cobbinshaw Reservoir, in West Lothian, Scotland. The Membership numbers around 340 annually.
We operate a fleet of 22 Coulam boats, stock around 13,000 rainbow trout annually and employ two full time Keepers. There is a well equipped Members Cabin and a large work shed with office and toilet facilities. The boats are all fitted with modern outboard motors and are equipped with landing nets and drogues. There is also a Wheelie Boat for disabled anglers. We offer all-year round fishing for both pike and trout.
We also operate the shooting rights on the loch
Our boats are moored around an extensive pontoon structure to both protect them from rough weather and provide maximum ease of access for Members and their Guests.
Fishing at Cobbinshaw is restricted to Members and their guests - there is no provision for members of the general public to fish the water.
